Heather Damon was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She attended the Academy of Arts school in San Francisco, but eventually chose a career as a pediatric nurse for Shriner's Childrens Hospital in Honolulu.

Now a mother and working less hours at the hospital, Heather wanted to start a business that was creative and took advantage of her art background. She decided on helping clients with "creative ways to give"--designing unique gift baskets that go beyond the norm.
